ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to disburse the Petitioner's retirement benefits like gratuity, general provident fund, special provident fund, encashment of earned leave and encashment of un-earned leave on private affairs together with interest along with security deposit to the Petitioner. 2.Heard Ms.S.Hemalatha, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate for the Respondents. 3.Ms.S.Hemalatha, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner was appointed as Salesman on 11.10.1987 and subsequently, retired from service on 31.08.2018. Since there is no disciplinary proceedings was pending against him on the date of retirement, the third Respondent Board of 2/4

Directors passed a resolution allowing the Petitioner to retire from service. Eventhough the Petitioner was allowed to retire from service on 31.08.2018, no retirement was disbursed to him. In this regard, the Petitioner made a representation to the Respondents on 02.09.2021. But the same was not considered by the Respondents. Hence, the Petitioner approached this Court by way of Writ Petition.

4.Taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, Respondents are directed to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2021 within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
