This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.74 of 2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered a case in Crime No.74 of 2018 on 14.03.2018 under Section 279 and 337 IPC against the driver of a vehicle bearing registration No.TN31 D 8309.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.74 of 2018, if not already completed, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure Report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
