ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 08.07.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.17832 of 2024, thereby directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for notional promotion to the post of Additional Superintendent of Police on par with his batch-mates and accordingly revise his pension and other attended benefits, within a period of twelve weeks. 2.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondents considered the case of the petitioner and granted notional promotion by the government order in G.O.(2D)No.315 Home (Police-1A) Department dated 15.09.2025. He also produced a copy of the above government order dated 15.09.2025, before this Court.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
