ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/defacto complainant to transfer the investigation in Crime No.79 of 2025 from the file of the third respondent to CBCID, Namakkal or any other investigation agency may deem it and proper in the circumstance of the above case.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the investigation is in progress.

3. Heard and perused the materials available on record. 2/5

4. It is seen that the FIR in Crime No.79 of 2025 has been registered only on 05.05.2025 for the offences under Section 296(b), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS and that the investigation is in progress. The grounds taken by the petitioner for transfer of investigation from third respondent police to CBCID are not satisfied.

5. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

6. However, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file the charge sheet within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
