The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 87 days in preferring the appeal against the Judgement passed by the learned Spl. Judge (Under POCSO Act 2012), Karaikal, in Spl.S.C.No.2 of 2020 dated 09.03.2020.

2. Though the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of the petition are not satisfied, since the petitioner/accused is in jail and he has every right to file appeal, the this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, the condone delay petition is ordered.

3. The Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the appeal on 19.09.2022. 13.09.2022 ksa-2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
