Respondent Prayer: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent to deposit the said amount of Rs.20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty lakhs only), paid by the petitioner, in a fixed deposit with a nationalized bank which will earn bank interest till the disposal and the finality of the adjudication proceedings.

ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to deposit the sum of Rs.20,00,000/- paid by the petitioner, in a fixed deposit with a nationalized bank. 2.The learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the amount has already been deposited in the GST account of the petitioner and therefore there is no amount available to be deposited in the fixed deposit as requested by the petitioner.

3.In view of the above development, the relief as claimed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court and it is made clear that this amount will be adjusted towards the amount payable by the petitioner after the adjudication proceedings are completed.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
