Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 5 to remove the illegal road laid on the petitioner's patta land in the above S.Nos.196/4, 196/6, 197/3, 197/4, 198/1, 198/2, 198/3, 198/4, 198/5, 215/3 and 215/4 in an extent of 70 1⁄4 cents of Mugaiyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpet District and not to construct over-bridge on the Vaanji Lake to connect the illegal roads on either side of the petitioner's patta land as per the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2023.

The petitioner herein seeks Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 5 to remove the illegal road laid on the petitioner's patta land in the above S.Nos.196/4, 196/6, 197/3, 197/4, 198/1, 198/2, 198/3, 198/4, 198/5, 215/3 and 215/4 to an extent of 70 1⁄4 cents of Mugaiyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpet District

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that the road laid in the patta land of the petitioners are being removed and the entire process will be completed within a period of three weeks from today. The said statement of the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 is recorded.

3. Recording the above said statement of the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
