This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.429 of 2017.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.On the complaint lodged by Mari Muthu, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.429 of 2017 on 11.06.2017 under Section 279 and 337 IPC. On a reading of the FIR, it is seen that a head on collision took place between two vehicles, in which, 95 persons suffered injuries including the petitioner herein.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the complaint and the magnitude of the offences, this court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
