The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.10.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 324, 302, 506(ii) IPC r/w 149 IPC in S.C.No.66 of 2023 in Crime No.616 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The petitioner is arrayed as A2. It is stated that there are 17 previous case against the petitioner herein. The overt act against the petitioner / A2 is that, the petitioner, A1 and A3 had assaulted with knife and A4 and A5 had protected during the incident. A1 and A2 alone are in custody. A3 to A5 had been granted bail.

3.A perusal of the records show that before the Trial Court the stage is under the stage of framing of charges. A direction is given to the Trial Court that charges may be framed. This criminal original petition is dismissed.
