Today, the above writ petition is posted under the caption ''For Being Mentioned'' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. As per the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner in W.P.No.23133 of 2024, she seeks the modification of the order in the interim direction passed by this Court on 14.08.2024.
3. This Court, by order dated 14.08.2024, passed the following order: "The writ petition is filed by the Management Director challenging the Award passed by the I Additional Labour Court, Chennai in C.P.No.71 of 2022 dated 31.07.2023.
2. The main contention of the writ petitioner is that there was a settlement, as per Section 12(3) of the Industrial Dispute Act, and the said amount was paid. Since the settlement has taken place, there is no need for further computing the amount, as claimed by the respondents herein, which is a differential amount of a sum of Rs.30,938/-.
3. There shall be an order of interim stay on 1/4
condition that the petitioner shall pay 50% of the arrears of the salary to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the interim order granted shall stand automatically vacated.
4. Post the matter after two weeks."
4. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is modified and the order dated 14.08.2024, should be read as follows:
"The writ petition is filed by the Management Director challenging the Award passed by the I Additional Labour Court, Chennai in C.P.No.71 of 2022 dated 31.07.2023.

3. There shall be an order of interim stay on condition that the petitioner shall deposit 50% of the arrears of the salary before the I Additional Labour 2/4
Court, Chennai, to the credit of C.P.No.71 of 2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the interim order granted shall stand automatically vacated.
4. Post the matter after two weeks."
5. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary corrections and issue a fresh order copy to both parties.
