Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Graduate Assistant ( Zoology) forthwith on the basis of his registration in the employment exchange, to appoint him as such and to extend all benefits arising thereto. ORDER

The petitioner prays to issue to a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Graduate Assistant ( Zoology) forthwith on the basis of his registration in the employment exchange, to appoint him as such and to extend all benefits arising thereto. 2.When the matter is listed today the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the matter has become Infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to the effect:

"In W.P.No.18808 of 2009, since the petitioner reached the age of superannuation, nothing survives in this writ petition & this W.P may be dismissed as become infructous."

3. In view of the above statement and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
