O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to Subordinate Court, Alandur to dispose of the petition for divorce filed by the revision petitioner in HMOP.No.1000 of 2021.

2. It is seen from the records that the HMOP was filed by the petitioner in year 2019 and the petition has been adjourned from time to time till July 2021 for filing counter. In these circumstances, the petitioner was constrained to file a present revision seeking earlier disposal of the HMOP.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the counter is already filed and the trial in the matter has commenced. It is agreed by both the counsel that PW.1 was cross-examined on 18.01.2020. In these circumstances, having regard to the fact that HMOP is of the year 2019, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

4. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
