T.V.THAMILSELVI, J., The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 471, 420, 465, 468 and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.05 of 2023, on the file of the first respondent, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had received Rs.36,20,000/- from the defacto-complainant and promised him to get job in BSNL. Hence the complaint.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was arrested and remanded in judicial custody on 13.09.2023 and subsequently he released on bail on 27.09.2023. This petitioner is a law abiding citizen and he undertake to abide with conditions imposed by this Hon'ble Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent raised objection and stating that this petitioner gave fake promises to various persons to get job to them in various departments and he collected huge amount from various persons. The nature of the case is job racketing and the amount involved in this case is Rs.36,20,000/-, so far no recovery from the accused. Hence, he raised strong objection to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent and perused the entire materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the counsels and on considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 02.08.2024 gvn
