This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioners in the name of enquiry.

2. On the complaint given by one Nandini, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.18 of 2018 for girl missing on 14.05.2018. In the said FIR, Nandini has stated that her daughter Nithya, aged about 17 1/2 years, has gone missing. The respondent police have suspected involvement of one Kannan, who is the son of the petitioners.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are not living with their son Kannan.

4. Be that as it may, until the girl is secured, the petitioners should have to co-operate with the police. Therefore, this Court directs the petitioners to co-operate with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent police for the investigation in Crime No.18 of 2018 and during enquiry, the petitioners shall not be unnecessarily harassed.
