ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned proceeding in order No.5/A.Ka.Ni/2023, dated 17.07.2023 passed by the third respondent Police and for a consequential direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct cultural program of Sri Amsar Amman temple on 23.07.2023 or on any alternative date in the month of July, 2023 at Kambai village, Gingee taluk, Villupuram district and to provide proper Police protection.

2. Heard Mr.G.Mutharasu, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. This Court does not find any ground to interfere with the decision taken by the third respondent police.
