Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the Respondent to provide electricity service connection to his building comprised in S.F.No.182, Site No.10, Arul Jothi Jai Nagar, Nallur, Tiruppur, based on his Application dated 28.06.2019.

According to the Petitioner, he is the owner of the property comprised in S.F.No.182, Site No.10, Arul Jothi Jai Nagar, Nallur, Tiruppur-6, measuring an extent of 3551 sq. ft. vide Sale Deed in Doc.No.3499 of 1991, dated 27.03.1991 on the file of the SRO Joint-II, Tiruppur, and he is in possession and enjoyment of the same, after mutation of revenue records such as patta, Municipal Tax, etc. In the year 2005, he constructed a house in one part of the aforesaid property and obtained electricity service connection, but, kept the remaining https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

part vacant. Thereafter, he constructed a house in the remaining portion of the said property and on 28.06.2019, he approached the Respondent and submitted an Application for domestic electricity service connection. Again, on 02.07.2019, the Petitioner sent his Application dated 28.06.2019 to the Respondent seeking electricity service connection, through Registered Post. But, so far, the Respondent has not come forward to provide electricity service connection. Hence, this Writ Petition.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into its merits, this Court directs the Respondent herein to consider the Petitioner's Application dated 28.06.2019 seeking electricity service connection to his building comprised in S.F.No.182, Site No.10, Arul Jothi Jai Nagar, Nallur, Tiruppur-6, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
