ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 189(4), 125 and 61(2) of BNS Act, 2023 and r/w 25(1-A) of Arms Act, in Crime No.121 of 2026, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

The allegation against the petitioner is that, when the respondent police was in vehicle checkup on 12.03.2026, the petitioners and others followed the car bearing Registration No.TN 12 DA 4693 in two cars and when the respondent police intercepted, the petitioners and others were found to be in possession of deadly weapons and threatening the public. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this is the third anticipatory bail and the earlier applications were dismissed. He further submitted that the co-accused was released on bail. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) strongly opposed the third anticipatory bail application and submitted that the allegations are serious in nature. He further submitted that there is no change in circumstances in the present application.

5. Considering the gravity of the offences, the specific overt act against the petitioners, and the absence of any change in circumstances of the earlier dismissal anticipatory bail applications, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, notwithstanding the fact that the co-accused has been released on bail.
