ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the 2nd respondent police to register the F.I.R. in the petitioner's complaint dated 14.08.2021.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner filed a complaint through post on 14.08.2021 and the same was delivered on 16.08.2021 and thereafter, no action taken despite https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cognizable offence is made out.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents would submit that the petitioner sent the complaint through post. Now, the genuineness of the complaint has to be verified. He would further submit that if the petitioner appear before the 2nd respondent police along with the copy of complaint and gives his explanation, appropriate steps would be taken.

4. Considering his submissions, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 2nd respondent police on 02.11.2021 along with copy of complaint and give explanation with contemporary document, if any. Thereafter, the 2nd respondent police is directed to take appropriate action in the manner known to law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
