This petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.1999.
2. According to the petitioner, the third respondent misappropriated the funds of the Bank by using his official powers. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent. No action has been taken by the second respondent for the petitioner's representation so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that if the said representation is pending, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, without going into the merits of the case, if the representation made by the petitioner dated 24.07.2009 is not disposed of, the second respondent is directed to consider the same, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to the parties concerned.
5. It is needless to say that the petitioner is directed to furnish one more copy of his representation along with this order copy to the second respondent. If the petitioner's representation has already been disposed of, the second respondent is directed to communicate the said order to the petitioner.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
