PRAYER: The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent nos.2 & 3 to not to harass the petitioners except due process of law.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner except due process of law.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that on the complaint given by one Shanmuganathan/defacto complainant, a case in Crime No.179 of 2021 has been registered for the offences under Section 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC against the petitioner by the 2nd respondent. He would reiterate that the respondent is not harassing the petitioner.

3.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
4.This Criminal Original Petition has been closed, accordingly.
