2. The petitioner claims to have purchased a vacant house site admeasuring to an extent of 2180 sq. ft., situate at old Survey No.156/16A and new Survey No.141/8 admeasuring to an extent of 11.5 ares in No.406, Road Street, Nolambur Village & Post, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District through a registered sale deed bearing document No.1140/1987 registered on the file of the office of the Sub Registrar, Tindivanam and thereafter, he approached the Tahsildar by means of an application dated 10.03.2016 for issuance of patta and also paid the prescribed fees and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

2. Heard the submissions of Mr.N.Elumalai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer and without going into the merits of the claim, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
