With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to issue patta to the petitioner with respect to his property bearing Plot No.65, Ayyappa Nagar Extension, Madipakkam, Chennai - 600 091 comprised in S.No.174/2 in Madipakkam Villae, Registration District of Alandur and Registration District of Madras-South, Sholingannallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the he purchased the subject property in the year 2011 and he got all service connections to his property. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given representation to the respondent for issuance of patta, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, the 2/4

respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
