By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to have acquired title in respect of the land admeasuring to an extent 30 cents in S.No.146/1B through a registered sale deed dated 23.06.1998, bearing Document No.2380/1988, registered on the file of the office of the Sub Registrar, Pallavaram and subsequently, settled a portion of the same, admeasuring to an extent of 24 - 1/2 cents in favour of his daughter, through registered settlement deed dated 05.04.2010, bearing document No.2380/1998, registered on the file of the office of the Sub Registrar, Pallavaram and it was also accepted and she had taken possession. The petitioner, on perusal of the encumbrance, found that the survey number has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
been wrongly mentioned as S.No.146/1 instead of 146/1B and in this regard, the petitioner has also submitted a representation dated 19.07.2016 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.B.Elayaraja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
4. Though the petitioner prayed for the larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2016 in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass order within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
