ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to file a further report based on the order passed by the Court below ordering for further investigation. 2.

Heard Ms.R.Hemalatha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that there are totally five accused persons at the stage of registration of the FIR. However, the final report was filed only as against two accused persons and three others were left out. In view of the same, the Court below directed further investigation in this case. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, no further report has been filed and aggrieved by the same, the present criminal original 2/5

petition has been filed before this Court.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the petitioner is not co-operating for the further investigation and the petitioner is not producing the original documents. In view of the same, there is a delay in filing the further report.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will co-operate with the respondent police and produce the relevant original documents.

In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to co-operate for further investigation by producing the original documents before the respondent police. On receipt of the same, the respondent police is directed to complete the further investigation and file a further final report before the Court below 3/5

within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
