This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. in Crime No.534 of 2017 before the competent Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-State.

3. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.534 of 2017 on 04.05.2017 for the offences under Sections 448, 406, 420, 426 and 506(i) IPC against one Abbas.

4. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.534 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of.
