TEEKAA RAMAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.8968 of 2018 IN CRL RC.505/2018 U.MANIKANDAN @ GOPINATH [ PETITIONER / RESPONDENT ] Vs R.VASANTHI [ RESPONDENT / PETITIONER ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition as to pay a sum of Rs. 1000/- memo calculation for arrears of the maintenance amount instead of to pay a sum of Rs. 3000/- memo calculation for arrears of the maintenance amount order dated 18.04.2018 in Crl.R.C.No.505 of 2018 on the file of the Hon'ble court. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.

THENRAJAN, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- The learned counsel sought for the modification of the order for paying the arrears of maintenance amount at the rate of Rs.3,000/- in two installments and to prove his bonafide is laid to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- and he has also produced a Demand Draft.

2. Taking note of the bonafide, an order was passed on 18.04.2018 is hereby modified to a limited extent that the arrears of the amount as Rs.3,000/- to be paid on or before 11.06.2018 is hereby modified that the condition amount of Rs.48,000/-, the petitioner is permitted to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- on or before 20.07.2018 before the VI Additional Family Court, Chennai and the balance of amount Rs.23,000/- to be payable on or before 16.08.2018 and the petitioner is required to pay monthly maintenance at the rate of Rs.2,000/- on or before 8th day of every English Calendar month and arrears to be paid at the rate of Rs.2,000/- within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
