Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the first respondent to produce the person and body of the petitioner wife G.Ranjitha, female, aged about 21 years, W/o.Satish Kumar, before this Court from the illegal custody of the second respondent and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the first respondent to produce the person and body of the petitioner's wife G.Ranjitha before this Court from the illegal custody of the second respondent and set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that it is a case of elopement of the detenue with the second respondent, who is none other than the brother of the petitioner.

3.Thus, prima facie we do not find any illegal detention involved. However, efforts should be made to trace the detenue as already a case has been registered in Crime No.306 of 2019 on 18.07.2019. As and when the detenue is secured, she should be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 4.With the abovesaid observation, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
