O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.Today, Mr.Vignesh Kumar, SI, V-6 Kolathur Police Station, Kolathur, Chennai is present before this Court. On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner is a Srilankan lady and that, she does not have proper visa to stay in India.

4.However, Mr.Kumaraguru submitted that the respondent Police are harassing the petitioner at odd hours on instigation of the flat owners association of Moogambikai flats, wherein, the petitioner is living as a tenant.

5.If the petitioner does not have valid documents, it is always open to the respondent to take action in accordance with law. However, the Police shall not harass the petitioner otherwise.
