This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents herein to de-seal the premises at New No.5 and 6, Old Door Nos.12A and 13, Kadappah Rangaiah (Chetty) Street, Periamet, Chennai600 003 so as to enable the petitioners to carry out demolition work and reconstruction in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the respondents submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioners has become infructuous, as the premises in question have been de-sealed on 21.06.2025 itself and therefore, this petition may be closed as infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioners has also made an endorsement in the Court bundle to that effect. 2/4

3. In view of the above submissions and as per the endorsement made, we are of the view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
