The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 17th July 2010.

3. Since the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is only for direction to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the respondent can be directed to dispose the representation of the petitioner and pass reasoned order.
4. Accordingly, a direction is given to the respondent to consider the said representation dated 17.07.2010 of the petitioner, after giving an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and pass a reasoned order. Since the representation is kept pending from 2010, on receipt of a copy of this order, the respondent shall forthwith act upon the said representation and dispose of the same as directed above.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
