[Order of the Court was made by M. JAICHANDREN, J.] Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the father of the detenu stating that his son, by name, Abbas, aged about 45 years, was kept under the illegal custody by the third respondent, from 27.10.2016.
3. At this stage of the hearing of the Habeas Corpus Petition, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the detenu had been arrested and remanded to judicial custody, on 2.11.2016.
4. He had further submitted that the detenu has been detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, relating to a case in Cr.No.1732 of 2016 on the file of the K.K.Nagar Police Station.
