This petition is filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Crime No.482 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police. 2.It is the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is falsely implicated as accused in Cr.No.482 of 2023 for the offences under Section 4 (1) (aaa), 4 (1-A) (ii) of TNP Act. He is in judicial custody from 08.07.2023. Thus, this petition is filed for seeking bail. 3.In response, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that petitioner was found in illegal possession of 105 litres of illicit liquor on 08.07.2023, at about 20.00 hours near Pudhur Bus stop, Thagarakuppam, in two-wheeler bearing No.TN 20 CU 3497. The liquor and two-wheeler were seized. Petitioner has ten similar previous cases are pending. 4.Considered the rival submissions and perused the records. 1/3

5.Considering the allegation that petitioner has ten similar previous cases and that he is an habitual offender and that investigation in this case is not completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 01.08.2023 ep 2/3
