The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay 15 days surrender leave salary surrendered in May 2019 and difference in Leave salary with 10% interest to the petitioner.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was joined in the respondent Transport Corporation on 18.01.1984 and after completion of unblemished service, the petitioner had retired from service on 31.05.2023. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has sent RTI query to the respondents claiming Earned Leave salary, the respondents have also replied to the entitlement of the petitioner. In this connection, the petitioner submitted representations dated 08.04.2025 and 26.04.2025 to the respondents claiming Earned Leave Salary. Since, the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2/5
would fairly submit that they would consider the said representations of the petitioner within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 08.04.2025 and 26.04.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
