This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.840 of 2017 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-State.

3. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.840 of 2017 on 12.07.2017 for the offences under Sections 294-B, 506(ii), 379, 341 and 406 IPC against Sumathi and 8 others.

4. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.840 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
