This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, III Fast Track Court (Magisterial Level) Saidapet, to dispose C.C.No.3894 of 2014.

2. The petitioner is the complainant in C.C.No.3894 of 2014, which is now pending on the file of the XVII Metropolitan https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Magistrate, III Fast Track Court (Magisterial Level), Saidapet, Chennai. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the case is being adjourned to longer days, on account of which, the trial has not progressed.

3. The learned counsel for the complainant submitted that a non-bailable warrant is pending against the accused.

4. In such view of the matter, this Court directs the trial Court to ensure that the police executes the non-bailable warrant expeditiously in order to secure the accused. Unless the accused is secured, it will not be worthwhile to issue a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial within a time period. Hence, this Court directs the trial Court to complete the trial in C.C.No.3894 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of securing the accused or appearance of the accused, if there is no other legal impediment. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
