By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be successor in title in respect of three items of property admeasuring to an extent of 13447 sq. ft in S.No.1766/9 and 1140 sq. ft. in S.No.1766/34 as well as through a registered settlement deed dated 10.03.2010, bearing document No.437/2010, registered on the file of the office of Sub Registrar, Periyamet in respect of the land and house property in S.No.1766/9 (part) admeasuring to an extent of 1100 sq. ft. and the second respondent made an attempt to encroach upon the property in S.No.1766/9 and therefore, the petitioner has approached the first respondent for survey and measurement of the above said land by means of application/representation dated 22.06.2016 and since, no orders have been passed came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Swaminathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/representation dated 22.06.2016, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the second respondent and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the second respondent. The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
