ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to the 5th respondent is dispensed with.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to remove the remark HOLD and the heading Not to be Transacted in the RTO records and online Portal towards Vehicle No TN 30 CZ 4891 Ashok Leyland DOST RLS (BSIV), Chassis No. MB1AA22E0JRH95002 and Engine No. HJH012835P by considering petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2026.

At the outset, learned counsel for respondents would submit that though the petitioner claims to be the subsequent purchaser of subject vehicle, however, there is no document which has been produced in support thereof. She would further submit that on production of relevant documents to show his right
/ ownership over the subject vehicle by petitioner, petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2026 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on merits and in accordance with law. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.
4. In view thereof, it is open to the petitioner to produce relevant documents to show his ownership/ title over the subject vehicle. If any such document/ materials is placed on record, petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2026 and material on record shall be considered and appropriate orders shall be passed on merits and in accordance with law after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner, 4th and 5th respondents. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
