O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter viz., Shalini, aged about 22 years, went missing since 16.09.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

2. Today, Mr.P.Krishnamoorthy, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Hosur Town Police Station, Krishnagiri District, is present before this Court.

3. Shalini also appeared before us via video conferencing and when enquired by us, she stated that her date of birth is 24.05.1999 and that she is 22 years old; she is pursuing 4th year Aeronautical Engineering and that she wants to become an entrepreneur and therefore, she has left her parents and has settled down in Bangalore; her mobile number is 93632 80168 and presently, she is staying in door No.182/2, First Main Road, Rainbow P.G., Sampangiram Nagar, Bangalore. She further stated that with her local counsel, she met her parents and other relatives on 03.11.2021 as well on 06.11.2021 and explained to them that she is not in the illegal detention of anyone and that she has been selected under a Central Government scheme titled "Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship". In view of the above, we do not find Shalini to be in the illegal custody of anyone, for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus and this petition stands closed.
