ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.This petition is filed by a student, who seeks admission to B.Tech course and wants this Court to reserve a seat during counselling in anticipation of good marks that he might score in his improvement exams that he has written. In other words, till the results of the improvement exams are out, he wants a seat to be reserved for him.

3.Mr.J.Prisella Pandian, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel has taken notice for the 1st respondent. Mr.A.Anandan, the learned Government Advocate has taken notice for the 2nd respondent. 4.Even prima facie this Court is not on the same page with the petitioner. After all, there are thousands of students who have performed well in their first attempt and they are already standing in the queue for getting into the Engineering Course. If this Court were to consider the prayer of the petitioner seriously, it will amount to giving him an undue preference and privilege as if he is above his equals. This is unconscionable to the conscience of this Court. 5.In view of the same, this Court does not consider that it is a fit case where the Court can help the petitioner.
