The petitioner has filed this petition seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on his representations dated 08.10.2020, 07.11.2020 and 22.09.2021. 2.
Heard Mr.S.Thirumavalavan learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. 3.
The petitioner, who was joined as a Junior Assistant in Kadayanallur Municipality and thereafter, he was transferred to the Office of the Regional Director of Municipal Administration, Vellore. Subsequently, he was promoted as Superintendent in the office of the Commissioner of Municipal Administration and his next promotional post is the Selection Grade Municipal Commissioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that after completion of 5 years of service, he was not deputed to the said promotional post. Hence, he made representation to the 2/4
respondents on 08.10.2020, 07.11.2020 and 22.09.2021 and the same were not considered by them so far.

Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the second respondent has already considered the representations of the petitioner and orders have also been passed to that effect.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the second respondent, he is at liberty to file an appeal to the Government. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
