This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider petitioner's application dated 16.08.2023 for renewal of contract carriage permit of her vehicle bearing Registration No.TN49 BF 9569.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner had submitted the application one year back and if the petitioner submits fresh application with all documents the same will be considered within a reasonable time.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. In the result, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh application with all requisite documents before the respondent, inturn the respondent to receive the application if any submitted by the petitioner along with the prescribed fee and requisite documents and consider the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks thereon. No costs.
