ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce the body and person of Mr.Ramesh Singh, S/o. Sundar Singh, aged 55 years, before this Court and set him at liberty, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.
2. The petitioner is the wife of the detenu, who has given voluntary retirement, after finding that he was unable to perform his work. He was also suffering from several ailments https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
apart from absent mind. As he was not found after he left the home, the petitioner gave a complaint and thereafter, the present petition has been filed.
3. The status report filed by the second respondent would show that despite the efforts made, the detenu could not be traced. However, the same is still going on.
4. In view of the above, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending any longer and this Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of by directing the respondents to trace the detenu. As and when the detenu is secured, he shall be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
