Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records to the order in Na.Ka.A5/1558/2008 dated 22.06.2008 issued on 02.07.2008 to the petitioner passed by the first respondent and quash the same as illegal, improper, unreasonable arbitrary and against rule of law and natural justice and thereby direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue the petitioner's cheque power for the Nandhiyalam Panchayat along with the Vice-President of the Panchayat.

Challenging the order of Inspector of Panchayat-cumDistrict Collector, Vellore, transferring the cheque signing power to the Block Development Officer, this Writ Petition has been filed by the President of Nandhiyalam Panchayat.
