ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested on 25.08.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offence under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1)(i) r/w 4(a)(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.921 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 60 litres of Pondy alcohol. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has been in jail from 25.08.2021. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 60 liters of Pondy alcohol. He further submitted that there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner and he is a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
