..Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 2nd respondent police to find out the above said missing document or to issue the not traceable certificate on the complaint dated 19.11.2020, given by the petitioner, vide CSR No.225 of 2020, dated 19.11.2020 on the file of the respondent police and investigate according to the law expeditiously.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to issue a Non Traceable Certificate based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 19.11.2020 and which is pending in CSR No.225 of 2020.

2.The case of the petitioner is that his original title deed pertaining to the subject property went missing and a complaint was given to the respondent police to issue a Non Traceable Certificate. Since the same was not acted upon, the present petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3.Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct the enquiry in CSR No.225 of 2020 and if the original document is not able to be traced, a Non Traceable Certificate shall be given to the petitioner. The entire process shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
