Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to give compassionate appointment to the petitioner in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited or any other suitable post by considering the representation dated 19.08.2019 made by the petitioner.

2. This writ petition is disposed without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case by directing the respondents to consider the various representations of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds on account of the death of the petitioner's father on 23.05.2011 who was working as a Conductor with the respondents State Transport Corporation and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. While passing such orders, the respondents shall also consider the existing Government Orders and also G.O.Ms.No.18, Labour and Employment (Q1) Department, dated 23.01.2020. No costs.
