ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus challenging the impugned order passed by 3rd respondent dated 14.05.2026 and direct the respondents to grant extension of time to excavate the extracted balance of ordinary earth over an extent of 3.40.0 Hectares in S.F.No.581(P), WRD tank of Polivakkam village or in the alternative adjust the already remitted royalty amount proportionate to the unextracted balance quantity (out of the total Rs.90,29,862) towards S.F.No.582 of Mappedu Village, Thriuvallur Taluk enabling timely execution of the Chennai peripheral Ring Road Project.
3. At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for respondents would submit that petitioner may have to file an appeal before the appellate authority.
If any such appeal is filed by petitioner, the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on merits and in accordance with law, within a time period to be fixed by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view thereof, it is open to the petitioner to file an appeal before the appropriate authority within one (1) week from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. If any such appeal is filed by petitioner, the same shall be considered and disposed of after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner and any other interested persons within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of filing of such appeal, without reference to limitation, if it is otherwise in order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law.
