ORDER
The respondent filed Original Petition before the Sub Court at Kancheepuram, against the petitioner in HMOP No.71/2016. The petitioner, on appearance before the Trial Court, filed this petition for transfer.
The learned counsel for the respondent fairly submitted that the respondent has no objection in transferring the proceedings to a Court at Chennai.
The petitioner is a resident of Chennai. The divorce petition is now pending before the Sub Court, Kancheepuram. Since the respondent has no objection for transferring the proceedings to the Family Court, at Chennai, necessarily the transfer petition deserves to be allowed.
In the result, the proceedings in HMOP NO.71/2016 is withdrawn from the file of the Sub Court, Kancheepuram and is transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court at Chennai. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
