ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.,] The petitioner is the mother of one E.Sukanya, aged about 23 years. On the allegation that the detenue has been missing from 02.02.2016 onwards, the petitioner lodged a complaint, based on which, a case has been registered in Cr.No.111/2016 for the offence u/s.366 IPC, on the file of the Krishnagiri Taluk Police Station. Since the detenue was not secured by the respondent police, the petitioner has come up with this petition. Today, the detenue E.Sukanya, has been produced by the respondent police. well as the learned counsel for the petitioner, they were not made appearance. The detenue is assisted by Mr.L.Mahendran, learned counsel and he identifies the detenue. When we enquired, she submitted that on her own volition, she married one Mr.Praveen Kumar, on 08.02.2016 and she has been living with him as his wife. She has also produced the Marriage Certificate bearing Sl.No.1653, issued by the Government Christian Marriage Registrar and Minister. Since we are satisfied from the statement made by the detenue that she is not under illegal detention of anyone, no direction as prayed for can be issued.

Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
