When this Court was about to dismiss the case on merits, learned counsel for the petitioners seek permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.27 of 2003 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided if there is no any legal impediment and that, the accused cooperate by crosshttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
examining the witnesses when they are examined in-chief as held by the Supreme Court in Vinodh Kumar Vs State of Punjab reported in 2015[1] MLJ [Crl] 288. If any accused absconds, a fresh FIR can be registered under Section 229-A IPC.
